"Wedding Buzz of the Week" is a free weekly Wedding article from expert Brian Kelm, designed to educate, get your creative juices flowing, and inspire you to a picture-perfect Wedding full of success and life-long memories!
Every Monday in 2010, I will provide you with a different lesson covering an area of your Wedding that you may have never known or thought about before.
Bring on Spring as February is half-over already!
The discussion for week 3 of February brings clear insights to the table about why some Weddings are remembered for many years and others are not. Why parts of a Wedding reach the press with TV coverage and are posted on YouTube with thousands of viewers.
What I am talking about has nothing to do with the amount of money you have, where your party is going to be held or event the time of year.
It however has everything to do with an honest commitment between you, your fiance', and your guests that a stand will be taken for what has not been done. Treating your planning process & what happens on your special day as a challenge, a set of opportunities to make your Wedding stand out as one of the best your guests have ever seen is available to you with consistent hard work, effort, integrity & overall commitment to not falling into a trap of endless excuses, procrastination, and mediocrity.
There is not a couple on the planet that doesn't want to make their Wedding true to them in every way, then when it doesn't happen...what fell apart and wasn't committed to or actions taken?
Playing it safe & staying within your comfort zone for the biggest day of your life is fine if you want average and ordinary results - knowing beforehand what you are going to get is so common and average it doesn't stand out. Furthermore, this decision & choice is based only on your previous experience and perception of Weddings and what they've been like vs. what is possible in taking a risk, doing something different, cruising down a road that has never been traveled down, keeping your word, and staying committed to the decision you make will give you the results you intend to get based on the actions taken...the choice is still yours?
The way you think about your Wedding is only limited to the thoughts, ideas, and people you put in it for becoming a reality. Surround yourself with quality people, ideas, and information that generates the new, fresh & curious; not the beaten up, overused, and old ideas that are not in the least bit genuine or authentic!
I guarantee you fantastic results if you commit to the actions of getting out of your comfort zone, taking on a new mindset & creating a Wedding all your own!
